So, um, my hair turned curly.

Nope, not a perm. Totally. Natural. Ringlets. You must understand that I'm a stick-straight hair girl from a family of stick-straight hair girls. Oh sure, I've developed some annoying cowlicks the past few years, but it was a shock when I didn't bother to style it one Saturday a few months ago and discovered this. It's weird, but in a nice way.

Nikki, I really like it, and isn't it great not to have to style it!

Seeing as how you've been at a different place for a while it might be the water softener...or lack thereof.

It looks natural though.

I have a theory that we are being exposed to some type of radiation (like chemo patients)- maybe it is the microwave and it is making mostly everyones hair turn curly. 20 years ago everyone had to get perms now almost everyone has curly hair

Mine has turned curly too! I found your blog trying to figure out what the heck is going on! Many sites say it has to do with hormonal changes as we age.
My hair has always been very straight...i let it airdry and Boom curls! odd

In the last 6 months this has happened to me. It's so frustrating because most people have their entire life to learn how to deal with curly hair. I'm at a total loss. I call it my "Kramer" hair. Everyday it's different. This blog entry is a few years old, so I'd like to know if your hair has stayed curly.
