It's a structural problem

So I've got a deviated septum and enlarged turbinates. English translation: I finally know why I have a sinus headache pretty much all of the time. And all of the allergy meds and antibiotics, etc. never do much good because there just isn't much space for air to go up my nose. I'm having surgery in a couple of weeks.

There's been a bit of craftiness going on here, but mostly I've been working and feeling crummy due to my structurally unsound nose. :-/

NIkki,
I hope this makes you feel better! Is it a very big procedure?

Good wishes to you.

My mom had a deviated septum and had it repaired. She is so much happier now. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I also have a deviated septum. Totally stinks, but it's not too bad. Probably just ran into too many doors. :-) Wait, I mean :~)

Ouch! Best wishes for quick healing (and enough energy for art making while you rest).

Hi Nikki! Remember me? We met at ArtFest and I drooled over your party dress quilt? It was cool to see it and progress and then to see you finished it! It's SO cute!

I hope your surgery went well.

Take care and hope to see you next April! :-)

Cheers,
Michelle
